Second opinion
A second opinion must be requested by the dog's owner and should be carried out by the dysplasia commission that did not perform the first evaluation.
The dysplasia evaluation documents for a second opinion must also be submitted online through the PetHealthData platform (see Dysplasia documents).
In principle, the radiographs used for the first evaluation can be sent alone or with new radiographs.
For a second opinion on the elbow, the radiographs from the first evaluation can be sent with new radiographs or with a CT scan of both elbows.
For a second opinion, the following documents must be provided:
- All radiographs from the first evaluation
- Authorization from the breed club for a second opinion of the dog is requested
The second expert may request new radiographs or images from other examination methods.
