Create and submit documents

Online transmission of dysplasia documents

Dysplasia documents must be submitted online via the PetHealthData platform. This platform is available in German, French, Italian, and English.

All steps for requesting a dysplasia evaluation can be done on the platform. The administrative workload for the practice/clinic can be reduced by asking the owners to register themselves and their animals on the PHBooklet platform before the examination. Radiographs must be uploaded in DICOM format; other digital image formats are not accepted. If only conventional radiographs are available, the "send radiographs separately by mail" option should be selected during the image upload process.

The rates for evaluations are available here.

Questions about the PHD Platform (registration, software use):

Questions about preventive examinations:

Veterinary practices and clinics abroad can request access through the PHD AG secretariat (info@phd-ag.ch).

Some practice management software (practice programs) have a direct link to the PHD platform. For more information, visit https://www.pethealthdata.ch/faq.

Conventional radiograph registration

Radiographs must be permanently labeled. The best method is to place the information directly on the radiographic film using a scriber or a scriber strip placed in the cassette. Indelible marker or India ink is also accepted. The following information is mandatory:

  • Name of the practice or practice owner
  • Date of the radiographic examination
  • Chip number and/or breeding registry number of the dog (SHSB or equivalent number)
  • Whenever possible, also the breed, date of birth, pedigree name and owner

Images with insufficient, incorrect, provisional or erasable identification will not be evaluated.
